Some ingredients in perfumes, whether natural or synthetic, can trigger skin reactions.

Ingredients known for their irritant and/or allergenic properties are regulated, and their concentrations in perfumes are controlled to minimize the risk of reaction. However, perfume is a complex product, and despite all precautions, some individuals may experience adverse reactions.

If you experience a skin reaction after applying a perfume, the first step is to discontinue use of the product, possibly rinse the affected area with water, and consult your physician.

We also recommend contacting us afterward so that a follow-up for cosmetic surveillance can be initiated. To do so, we invite you to fill the cosmetovigilance form and send the form to cosmetovigilance@initioparfums.com.

Our INITIO fragrances contain both natural and synthetic ingredients. This diversity allows our perfumers great creative freedom. Synthetic ingredients are just as safe as natural ones and are essential for recreating certain notes or adding facets to a perfume.

All our fragrances and hair perfumes are made in France.

Our candles are made in Portugal.

Perfume does not have an expiration date unlike cosmetic products, but an optimal date of use. The shelf life of INITIO fragrances is between 3 and 5 years from the date of manufacture, provided they are stored correctly. The ideal storage conditions for a perfume are: away from light and humidity, at room temperature (25°C). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. Our team will be delighted to assist you.

The classic enemies of perfume are heat, air and light. We recommend that you keep your bottle tightly sealed, stored at room temperature (25°C), away from humidity and sunlight.

It is important to note that each skin type reacts differently to perfumes. To prolong the lasting power of your fragrance, we recommend applying it to pulse points, such as the neck, wrists, and behind the ears, where the body’s warmth helps to diffuse the scent throughout the day.

At the moment, we do not offer express delivery. Our current delivery times range from 3 to 7 business days.

Shipping costs and customs fees are included in your INITIO Parfums Privés invoice.

If you placed your order via your INITIO Parfums Privés account, log in to your account then click on “My orders”. You will then be able to follow the status of your order.

If you placed your order as a guest, please track the progress of your delivery using the tracking number provided in the Order Confirmation email.

If you do not receive your package within 5 to 7 working days, after receiving the email confirming the shipment of your order, please contact our customer service. Our advisors will be delighted to guide you.

After placing your order, allow a few minutes for the order summary to arrive. Kindly check your "Spam" inbox as well, as the email may be routed there based on your email settings.

Our displayed prices already include VAT. The VAT amount is specified on your purchase invoice.

The different methods of payment accepted are PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payment is made via recognized payment operators, PayPal, and Stripe. All transactions made on the initioparfums.com website are highly secure.

Payment in 3 installments is offered through PayPal.

DELIVERY

Once your parcel has been shipped, an email with all the tracking information will be sent to the email address you provided when placing the order.

We do not offer delivery to pickup points. Only home delivery is available at this time.

The delivery time applies from the sending of the email confirmation of shipment of your order.

- FRANCE : delivery time is 3 to 5 working days with Colissimo.

- EUROPE : delivery time is 3 to 6 working days with DHL.

- UNITED KINGDOM : delivery time is 3 to 6 working days with Royal Mail.

- UNITED STATES and CANADA : delivery time is 3 to 6 working days with Fedex.

RETURN AND REFUND

Online purchases cannot be exchanged or returned in-store.

In order to return a product, you will need to send a message on our contact form indicating your willingness to return the item within 28 days from the date of the delivery. For us to accept the product, it must remain unopened in its original packaging. All gifts received with your purchase must also be returned.

Once we receive the product, we will inspect it and proceed to the refund on the same payment method used when placing the order. The shipping costs which will be at the expense of the customer.

This clause does not affect your legal rights in relation to faulty products. Return of faulty products will be under the responsability of INITIO Parfums Privés.

If any returned items do not comply with our conditions, we will inform you by email that an amount will be deducted from your refund, or you can choose to have the goods returned to you within 14 days of our notification.

We strive to process refunds as quickly as possible. Your refund will then be processed on the same payment method used when placing the order, within 14 days from the date we receive your return package.

Only products purchased through INITIO Parfums Privés official website may be returned in accordance with the return policy. INITIO Parfums Privés products purchased through any other official retailer are subject to the return policies of this retailer.
